Carol's romantic notions of a glamorous, jet-set life ended soon after her modeling career kicked off. She specializes in swimsuits, so most of her photo shoots are on beaches in exotic locales. Jet lag, giant mosquitoes, dubious drinking water, and bad airline food quickly brought her down to earth. She still does the occasional bikini shoot, but now prefers to pose in lingerie from the comforts of a Manhattan photo studio.
